(Taking some time away from posting about writing, as that has been basically all I've done for a while).

Love - or at least real love - is 3-D.  It's not something that's just there, like in soap-operas, and it isn't over dramatized either.  I'll explain what I mean about not being over dramatized.

Number 1, love doesn't mean two people who are engaged and to be married, it means someone who will sacrifice all they have for someone else.

Number 2, real love isn't love on sight.  Nor is it like a romance story where two people hate each other, but then end up loving each other later on.

While that might happen occasionally, it sure isn't the most common.

Real love is something that is more about someone who will sacrifice his or her self for someone they love (i.e., someone they care about).

And lastly, love isn't 2-D.  It is not something that just happens, as in a movie, it's something that God gives.  And that is '3-D' love.

Very true. That occurs in many movies; the two characters dislike each other then looooooooove each other . . .

We just went out for pizza at The Villa!

Did you know that the story of St. Valentine is that (I think it was

emperor Nero) the emperor outlawed marriage in, I'm pretty sure,

ALL OF ROME! Well, St. V. kept on doing secret weddings, and

eventually the emperor found out . . . and had him beheaded. :(

But, St V.'s name lives on as the "love" person, and V. Day is the

second most celebrated holiday, at least in America, according to

Liberty Tree House -- one of Glenn Beck's shows.

I don't know if you shall receive this in time, but here goes.

When you said that S.S.C. ends on Feb. 15'th, were/are you

meaning that it is the last day we have to write, or that we have to

enter our novellas today -- Valentine's Day?

By the way, I checked my website yesterday, or tried to, and it

seems to have been SHUT DOWN! Not only that, but also

roxer.com seems to have had the same thing happen. I'm guessing

that they decided to end that website and all attached sites, but I

sincerely HOPE not! Will you please see if you can go onto it for

me? If so, thank you.

Inquisitively,
General J.S.

So, so true. "...it means someone who will sacrifice all they have for someone else..."
Reminds me of the old, old, but oh so true story. The story written by the greatest author of all time. The story that changes lives....
